Tag or alias for Patterns, e.g. "Chorus" for "Pattern 2"

I would like the ability to create my own names for patterns, so I can keep track of where I am using them, or what function they serve, or if they are “alternate takes”, etc.

You can already do that. Double click on pattern to rename it.

Thanks. I didn’t know that, obviously. And it’s not obvious in the UI that the feature is available. For example, a Tool Tip could be added “Double click to edit pattern name”.

I didn’t realize it till recently myself. I’m sure it’s in the manual.
