Wishlist 3.0 for a fluently workflow

Scaler is the tool I use the most. Scaler has - together with EZK2 - the best usability (in my humble opinion), and a few more useful features I like a lot, and can also be used standalone on the iPad. This is also the reason why this is my favourite app.

The graphic design is logical and really well developed. For me even in perfection. Super readable even with weak eyes. Therefore, if I have one wish, it would be to stick with the simple graphical user interface.

If anything should be included, it would be things that further simplify the production process. I myself, for example, just need to be able to plan a song completely on the level of writing chords without a lot of back and forth and reworking and finally getting lost. There is still room for improvement. I usually start with Scaler, but often end up somewhere else, because I can’t handle the many changes congruently in Scaler and pack and archive it from there.

Things that would further simplify the workflow (most are already been mentioned). The way I work (okay, I’m self-taught and have been doing this for years, and maybe I don’t do everything like professionals do) it would be :

Nudge user to save projects first easily with a clear overall button (just color it) and later on autosave
Using more than 8 chords per pattern (scrollable) Then the function keys would have to be located above and below the range, as with Vir2 Electricity, for example, or be solved innovatively at all as MIDI automations
Synchronise Play button with DAW (following the structure of the patterns)
Export names i.e. following the pattern structure i.e. Verse 5-8, Chorus 1-4, Bridge 1-2
Two new windows 6 and 7:

Auto Suggest Chords to Midi melodies (When you start with a melody) This actually would be the killer feature in iOS. Because then it would be super easy to prepare any idea ready for the studio on the go
Auto Suggest Modulations Window (i.e. you enter the ending 8 and starting 4 bars, then Scaler replaces directly into the alternative suggestions of the last 4 bars, from where you can continue working with the modulations tab or do other editing)

Nice to have would be

VSTi
Standalone in MacOS
An easier way to try out the (visualized) performances and to be able to integrate them through-composed (I practically barely use this, because it takes hours to handle)

And thank you so far, you are doing an awesome job!

Thanks for the feedback @Tommix and welcome to the forum!
