HI everyone! long time reader, first time posting.
I apologise if is a stupid question, but I can’t work out how to do this 
I found a chord sequence I like, but rather than have it played by Scaler sequencer I’d like to trigger the chords using the binder, and record them in midi directly in Ableton.
I have tried unsyncing the sequencer from Ableton, to avoid it starting, but then if I play the midi notes to trigger the samples all the notes get stuck, and the recorded midi part is unusable.
Is there a way to play the chords from bottom the sequence live and record them? I need to trigger those because I found variations and suggestions I like and put them in the seuqnce just as a place holder, but for the life of me I can’t work out how to do it!
