Scaler as VST host

How is this “back on topic?”.

I don’t know… no warm fuzzies concerning Steinberg.
To me, Steinberg is akin to abandonware.

Their VST3 implementation is bad.
Their drivers for the Genos are crippled.

The Genos is Yammy’s flagship keyboard.
The drivers don’t play nice with other drivers.

Also, Steinberg dumped Win7 support.
Scaler devs support Win7 (thankfully!). :sweat_smile:

LOL, you got me there. I guess “back on SUB topic”,or perhaps not. Ahhh… the joys of online forums meandering :wink:

and socials are even worse, with tons of nested sub-topics…
:laughing:

I absolutely agree to @jbone1313. For example the above mentioned Unify. It started with a focus on some nice instruments to host and then it started to get complicated. Me I couldn’t follow all the steps, much too complicated and focussed more on one genre. I sold it after some month.
There are so many good daw outside, even for zero money, why add another one instead of learning the possible ways to handle it now. Scaler has lot of potentials.

@Bernd
I found another one
